Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes the rules of conduct and conditions under which users may use the OBMessage platform and its associated modules, SmartQueue and Aless.

Its purpose is to ensure ethical, legal, and secure use of the service, preserving system integrity, Ofimatic’s reputation, and the experience of all users.

Scope

This policy applies to all customers, users, contractors, employees, and third parties who have access to the services offered under the OBMessage platform, including its API, administrative panel, messaging channels, and automated service modules.

Permitted use

Users must use OBMessage only for legitimate, professional, or commercial purposes, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Use of the service must comply with the following conditions:

  • Comply with Ofimatic’s privacy, security, and intellectual property policies.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of personal and business data handled through the platform.
  • Immediately report any misuse or suspicious activity detected.

Prohibited use

The use of OBMessage and its modules, including SmartQueue and Aless, is expressly prohibited for:

  • Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or phishing campaigns.
  • Distributing offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Executing cyberattacks, unauthorized access, or reverse engineering.
  • Using the platform for political, religious, or other activities unrelated to the purpose of the service.
  • Transferring or reselling system access without authorization from Ofimatic.
  • Using the Aless chatbot to create, train, or distribute false information, or to manipulate conversations for malicious purposes.

User responsibility

The user is responsible for the use of their account, credentials, and system configurations. Any activity performed under their access will be considered their direct responsibility.

Ofimatic shall not be liable for damages resulting from misuse of the service by the user, their employees, or third parties authorized by the user.

Monitoring and compliance

Ofimatic reserves the right to monitor service usage in order to ensure compliance with this policy. If violations are detected, Ofimatic may:

  • Temporarily suspend or cancel access to the service.
  • Report unlawful activities to the competent authorities.
  • Take legal action for damages caused.

Security and confidentiality

Users must follow the security measures recommended by Ofimatic, including the use of strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and good information management practices.

Access to confidential data must be performed only from secure devices and networks.

Review and update

This Acceptable Use Policy will be reviewed and updated periodically to adapt to technological, operational, or legal changes. The current version will always be available in the official OBMessage service documentation.
