Prohibited actions

For this reason, you must not:

  • Send spam. Spam may appear in the form of bulk emails or commercial emails. For bulk emails, we use the definition of unsolicited bulk email. For individual commercial emails, we define spam as any message that violates the applicable SPAM law.

  • Use email for bulk email delivery without being able to demonstrate authorization to do so, either through a subscription form or other evidence of consent.

  • Store in your email or account any material that was not created by you, was not provided for your use, or violates the rights of any person. This includes text, photos, graphics, and other content.

  • Use misleading or incorrect names, addresses, email addresses, subject lines, or other information on the website or in any email created or sent through our service.

  • Decode, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any software from our website, or any software used or downloaded from the website.

  • Advertise telecommunications companies or other competitors. Any advertising or sponsorship of content from a competing communication service or provider is prohibited. Any information that discredits the operator is also prohibited.

  • Include advertising in exit confirmation messages. When a user unsubscribes from a service, they may receive a confirmation message with information on how to subscribe again to that service. The client may not advertise another service in this message under any circumstances.

  • Promote alcoholic beverages. All advertisements promoting the consumption of alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

  • Promote tobacco. Advertisements for tobacco and related products are prohibited.

  • Promote supplements and medications. Advertisements promoting herbal supplements, over-the-counter medications, or prescription medications are subject to review.

  • Promote controversial topics. Advertisements related to matters that have an impact on society or institutions, and on which segments of the community hold opposing positions, are subject to review. This includes topics such as abortion, prayer in schools, the right to bear arms, and the legalization of marijuana or other drugs.

  • Promote firearms, ammunition, or fireworks. Advertisements for firearms, ammunition, and fireworks are prohibited.

  • Promote gambling, including lotteries. Advertisements for gambling activities that involve placing money with the expectation of receiving a monetary gain are prohibited.

  • Promote informal businesses. “Get rich quick” schemes, pyramid businesses, and “work from home” schemes are prohibited. Advertisements for multi-level marketing companies or informal businesses will not be accepted.

  • Promote hypnosis, psychic services, or pseudosciences. Advertisements about hypnosis, psychic topics, or pseudosciences are prohibited.

  • Use offensive language. Advertisements with words that reflect hate, profanity, insults based on racial or gender discrimination, or that violate morals and good customs are prohibited.

  • Perform comparative advertising. Advertising containing comparative information that may constitute unfair competition under applicable law is not allowed.

  • Promote breast enhancement products, devices, or sexual devices. Advertising for any type of sexual device, instrument, or tool is prohibited.

  • Promote condoms and contraceptives. All advertisements for condoms and other contraceptives for sale are prohibited.

  • Publish sexual advertisements. Erotic, obscene, lewd, indecent, pornographic, or sexual advertisements, as well as those including images of nudity or scantily dressed people, are prohibited. Services referred to as sexual education are also prohibited.

  • Publish political advertisements. These advertisements are subject to review and will be allowed at OFIMATIC’s discretion.

  • Promote dating services. Advertising for dating services is prohibited.

  • Publish public service announcements. These announcements are subject to review and will be allowed at OFIMATIC’s discretion.

  • Promote religious organizations or related matters. Advertisements requesting affiliation with a church or religious institution are prohibited. References to specific deities are also prohibited.

  • Use service marks without authorization. The use of trade names or logos without prior authorization from the operator’s legal and marketing departments is prohibited.

  • Promote vitamins, nutrition products, weight loss products, weight control products, or meal replacements. Advertising may not imply that the product replaces or substitutes a balanced diet.

  • Make unsupported health claims. Advertisements may not make unsupported health claims. Comments regarding the effectiveness of doses exceeding the recommended daily amount are also prohibited.

  • Publish false or misleading advertising. Any advertisement that could be considered false or misleading is prohibited. This includes fake functionality, such as advertisements designed with fake buttons to deceive consumers into clicking.
