Subprocessors and Technology Providers¶
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Introduction¶
OFIMATIC SRL uses certain technology providers to provide, operate, protect, and maintain OBMessage and its modules, including Omnify, Aless, and SmartQueue.
This page describes the categories of providers that may participate in service delivery and the principles applied to their use.
OFIMATIC does not sell or commercialize personal data.
2. What is a subprocessor?¶
When OFIMATIC processes personal data on behalf of a Customer and uses another provider to perform part of that processing, that provider may act as a subprocessor depending on the nature of the service and applicable contractual relationships.
Not every third-party service connected to OBMessage necessarily acts as an OFIMATIC subprocessor.
In some circumstances, the Customer itself establishes a direct relationship with the third party, for example by connecting an external account, channel, or service.
3. Provider categories¶
Depending on the services contracted and enabled by the Customer, OFIMATIC may use providers in the following categories:
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Infrastructure and hosting | Run applications, services, databases, and components required for OBMessage. |
| Storage | Store files, documents, backups, or other data required to provide the service. |
| Messaging | Facilitate sending and receiving communications through channels contracted by the Customer. |
| Manage email sending or receiving where this functionality is used. | |
| SMS and telecommunications | Manage SMS, voice, or other communication services where contracted. |
| Communication platforms | Integrate external channels enabled by the Customer. |
| Technical services | Support certain functions required to operate, monitor, or protect the platform. |
Use of a category does not mean that every customer uses the same providers.
Applicable providers depend on the contracted services, configuration, region, and enabled integrations.
4. Services connected directly by the Customer¶
OBMessage supports integrations with external platforms.
Where the Customer directly connects an external account or service, processing performed by that provider may be subject to an independent relationship between the Customer and the provider.
For example, when an external messaging channel is connected:
- The Customer may maintain an account directly with that provider.
- The provider may determine certain purposes and processing conditions.
- The service will be subject to that provider's terms and policies.
In such cases, integration with OBMessage does not automatically make the third party an OFIMATIC subprocessor.
5. Provider selection¶
When using providers to process information related to OBMessage, OFIMATIC seeks to consider factors such as:
- Nature of the service.
- Type of information processed.
- Security requirements.
- Confidentiality.
- Availability.
- Continuity.
- Contractual obligations.
- Applicable regulatory requirements.
6. Limited access¶
Providers used to deliver OBMessage should access only the information required to perform their applicable functions.
OFIMATIC seeks to apply conditions designed to limit use of information to contracted purposes.
7. Confidentiality and security¶
Where appropriate, OFIMATIC requires through agreements or other suitable mechanisms that providers maintain reasonable safeguards for information they process.
These obligations may include:
- Confidentiality.
- Access controls.
- Protection against unauthorized access.
- Incident management.
- Deletion or return of information where applicable.
8. Location and transfers¶
The location in which particular information is processed may depend on:
- Infrastructure used.
- Provider.
- Contracted region.
- Channel used.
- Customer configuration.
Where processing involves international transfers of information, such transfers will be performed in accordance with applicable legal and contractual requirements.
9. Provider changes¶
OFIMATIC may change, add, or replace providers due to:
- Technological changes.
- Operational requirements.
- Security requirements.
- Availability.
- Regulatory changes.
- Infrastructure improvements.
- Changes in third-party services.
Where there is a contractual obligation to notify the Customer of a new subprocessor, OFIMATIC will provide the applicable notice in accordance with the relevant agreement.
